- A sponsor who possesses a valid residence permit
- Clearing a medical fitness exam for persons above the age of 18

The following paperwork is required:

For private employers, the sponsoring business must provide the required extra documents:
- A copy of a current corporate card
- A copy of a current trade license
- A copy of the sponsor's renewed labour card
- A copy of the labour card renewal receipts for persons aged 60 and up
Individuals sponsoring their families (spouse, children, parents, siblings, first cousin relatives as well, should provide:
- For investors, a copy of the husband's work, wife's agreement, or company contract
- A letter from the company indicating the employee's monthly income
- A legally binding marriage license
